WAY Fund Managers (WFM) is a fully independent ACD and since 2001 has had the experience of helping fund / asset managers achieve their goals.

What WFM does:

  • Provide a comprehensive level of oversight to assess investment, regulatory and operational risks as mandated by the Financial Conduct Authority (FCA).
  • Responsible for the management of the Fund(s) in accordance with the Instrument of Incorporation / Trust Deed, Prospectus and the FCA's Handbook of rules.
  • Prepares the financial statements in accordance with the Statement of Recommended Practice (SORP) for collective investment schemes. These are posted on WFM's website.
  • Assesses the suitability and validity of new funds and advise on their creation and launch.
  • Put in place the essential relationships with third-party service providers, from custodian & depositary, auditor, fund accountant, platforms and wraps.
  • Oversee the fund accountant, transfer agent, distributor(s) and investment adviser as part of its regulatory obligations.
  • Independent of the fund / asset manager, WFM monitors its funds in relation to adherence to the conditions laid out in the Funds' documents and the relevant Regulations.

All dealing and registration will be administered by Investor Administration Solutions (IAS) which is part of our group, allowing for seamless communication and enhanced efficiencies. Following substantial recent investment in systems, people and processes, IAS provides a bespoke solution that meets all customer requirements.

  • Maintain the register of holders and complete all dealing to the highest standard (supported by a full suite of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)).
  • Have existing links in place with all of the major straight through processing (STP) providers and platforms.
  • Offer a bespoke service, including scripts for telephone calls and with fast and efficient response times.
  • Management Information (MI) which can be tailored to meet your needs.
  • Multi-Currency functionality.
  • Electronic anti-money laundering verification.
  • Provide your own dedicated point of contact.
